Blackberry Chutney

Why not try making one, two or all three of these delicious chutneys.

All are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and delicious. If you are on a budget or just prefer the more personal touch of a homemade present, you should definitely give these quick and easy chutneys a go.




  • Finely chop the onions, ginger and chillies and fry them on a low heat in a saucepan until they have softened (take care not to brown).
  • Add the blackberries and cook for a further 3-4 minutes and continue to stir.
  • Then add the sugar and the Sicilian Red Wine Vinegar and bring to the boil for 15 mins.
  • Then add the Chilli Reserve Balsamic Vinegar and simmer for a further 5 mins.
  • With a cheese board, particularly goats cheese. Enjoy on panini’s, wraps, sandwiches, and on a ploughmans.
