Hummus with pita bread is the classic middle-eastern snack or starter.

It’s extremely tasty when dipped into with warmed pita bread. It’s easy to prepare and it’s protein-packed!

Ingredients

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180c
  • Place pitta breads on a baking having sprinkled a small amount of water on both sides
  • Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and tip into your food proces
  • Add the tahini, garlic, salt and lemon juice to the mix
  • Turn the food processor on and slowly pour in the Premium Sicilian olive oil while it runs
  • When the mixture is fully combined and smooth, tip into a serving dish
  • Drizzle with our chilli and garlic infused olive oil and orange and ginger balsamic
  • Decorate with whole chickpeas
  • Remove pita breads from the oven and cut into slices
  • Serve
