Port Chutney

If you like the idea of making homemade gifts for your friends and family for Christmas or their birthday this year, why not try making them one, two or all three of these delicious chutneys. All are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and delicious. If you are on a budget or just prefer the more personal touch of a homemade present, you should definitely give these quick and easy chutneys a go.

Method

  • Soften the onions for around 5 minutes in the olive oil with the pinch of salt. Add the sugar and cook for a further few minutes.
  • Pour in the Port and the Reserve Balsamic Vinegar and on quite a high heat reduce the mixture down until thick and sticky.
  • SERVE
  • With our delicious Stilton & Walnut Pate. You can also enjoy on panini’s, wraps, sandwiches, and on a ploughman's or cheese board.
