Easy Peasy Pasta!

This popular recipe is for families of all ages as it satisfies even the most discerning of taste buds.

One of our favourite go-to recipes, tuna pasta, is a quick, easy and nutritious meal using only your store cupboard basics.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dried pasta
  • 1 tin of tuna
  • Half a cup of frozen sweetcorn
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Basil infused olive oil
  • Fresh parsley
  • Grated cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Method

Boil a pan of water and add salt to speed up the heating time.

Now the pan of water is boiling add in your pasta and cook as per instructions.  Usually around 5-10 minutes.

In the last 5 minutes of your pasta cooking add in your sweetcorn.

Drain the pasta and put back in the sauce pan, add in the drained tuna, mayo, basil infused olive oil and stir it all up.

Serve with a sprinkling of cheese, chopped parsley and seasoned to taste - we recommend lots of black pepper.
