Where are Casteline Olives Grown?

Grown in the sun-drenched foothills of the Alpilles Mountains in the south of France, Castelines extra virgin olive oil is produced by Jean-Benoit Hugues and his wife. Years of reflection and selection of the finest taste and character, give this olive oil a distinctive identity.

What flavours should I expect?

This oil has a warm and attractive top note of ripe bananas combined with raw artichoke. It’s very well balanced, with a softer, cooked artichoke flavour in the mouth coupled with some bitter almonds and a strong kick of chilli drawing out the finish. The 2018 vintage olive oil makes a delightful well-rounded addition to many dishes.
