spanish olive oil: Marqués De Prado
Andalusia, southern spain
How Is Marqués De Prado Extra Virgin Olive Oil Made?
This organic and a little "different" oil was originally created for the Marques De Prado's family, hence it's name Family Selection.
It is produced at the end of November and is a blend of two varieties of olive, Picual and Arbequino.
The Marque's bespoke bottle somewhat adds to the oils eccentricity and comes packaged in an attractive box to keep it's treasured contents out of the light and to maintain it's outstanding quality.
Size: 500ml
Where are Marqués De Prado Olives Grown?
The olives are grown on the beautiful estate close to Seville in Andalusia, southern Spain that has been home to the Marque’s family since the 14th century.
What flavours should I expect?
An extremely interesting oil. Smooth, fruity and sweet but then a little surprisingly, some bitterness on the finish too!
Sweetness at first, with hints of green apple and banana, followed by medium-intense pepper amidst whispers of green olive, almonds and tomato vine.
Delicious!
