How Is Pellegrino Extra Virgin Olive Oil Made?

 

The oil is made in October, that’s early in the season and done then in order to produce the intense, strong and robust  oil that is required to be bottled as the family Riserva.
It is made with handpicked Coratina olives with a colouring mix of 90% green and only 10% black olives, compared to later on in the season (November through until January) when the mix  is a more gentile 70% green and 30% black.
The distinctive bottle is attractively packaged in a sophisticated matt black tube, keeping it’s precious contents out of the light and maintaining it’s exceptionally  high quality.
