A lovely artisan red wine vinegar made by Maria Paola Di Lorenzo on the magnificent Disisa estate in Sicily. Made from the estates very own top quality Nero d’Avola red wine, the vinegar is lovingly matured in ancient wooden barrels in the family cellar for up to two years.
Our superb, estate nurtured, red wine vinegar is complex and mellow with an intoxicatingly warm aroma.
Delicious when mixed with one of the Gift Of Oil’s premium or infused olive oils as an excellent easy to make dressing for crisp and crunchy salads, or with the addition of a little Dijon mustard, a most stunning French dressing too.
A very versatile dressing but also fantastic in marinades, sauces, gravies, and casseroles.
