My husband Phil came home with a huge bag of tomatoes from the flower show! Being very busy at this time of year, I decided to make some delicious tomato soup Here's how I did it! I chopped up the tomatoes and an onion, lots of peeled cloves of garlic, and threw in a big sprinkling of mixed herbs. I added three vegetable stock cubes to about 500ml of boiling water, you could use chicken stock. Don't add too much water because lots of juice will be generated from the tomatoes.
