Our infused olive oils are made with two ingredients. Extra virgin olive oil, and the ingredient the oil is infused with. When buying infused olive oil the most important thing to look at is the ingredients list. Many on the market are actually flavoured olive oils which contain artificial flavourings, and have never seen a lemon, a basil leaf, or a sprig of rosemary! Our infused olive oils are crafted exclusively for The Gift of Oil by the Di Lorenzo family in Sicily, artisanal producers of premium wine and olive oil. Made using fresh herbs and fruits they grow themselves in the abundant orchards and gardens of the Disisa estate, the ingredients are handpicked only hours before they are submerged into their freshly pressed, extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil infusions produced this way are rarer than you would think, and this is why The Gift of Oil customers return time and time again, they are addictive! Extra virgin is the most flavoursome of oils as there is no dilution and minimal processing. Our European olive oil selection has a complex variety of flavours to look out for, expect a balance of, among other things, fruit, spice and pepper. Infusions Balsamic
We have a wonderful and unique range of infused balsamic vinegars for you to buy online. Our flavoured balsamics are created by the Verrini family using aged balsamic vinegar that they have produced on their estate in the north of Modena, Italy. The Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes they grow are picked, pressed and cooked down into a top quality grape must before being combined with a little wine vinegar and then aged in wooden barrels until they reach the correct density. Our classic range of balsamics are made from our thinner, younger Classic Balsamic Condimento, where as our Reserve range are made from our thicker, richer and more intense Reserve balsamic vinegar. This is why our infused balsamic vinegars are so delicious; the aged balsamic that is infused is of a premium quality. The flavours are added to the balsamic once they have reached the perfect density by added concentrated natural ingredients, aromas and juices to the balsamic.
